Our History
In May of 2001 Joe's Auto Service,Inc. began as a mobile automotive
service business working out of my garage in my home in Noblesville,
In. Working in the field had it's limitations and safety issues, plus
the requests for service were such that it became impractical to
continue out of my home. There was a need for service bays right away..
 In July of 2001, Joe's Auto Service opened their doors at it's 1st location (12999 Old Meridian, Carmel, In 46032).
This location was a Marathon gas station for many years and was
built back when Old Meridian used to be U.S. 31. This location was a
full service gas station for 40 years or more... I was a mechanic and
pumped gas at this station about 8 years ago.
In October of 2003 we had to move due to road improvements to a
temporary location at 930 3rd ave S.W. in Carmel. We were only supposed
to be there a year or less, delays forced us to remain almost 2 years.
Now, two years later,in Sept 2005, we have just completed
construction on our new facility at the southwest corner of Main St
& Guilford in Carmel. This is one block East of our original
location.It is a beautiful facility! We strive to set new standards in
the automotive service industry.

with "STATE OF THE ART" tools & diagnostics to repair today's
complex vehicles.
Folks have always felt they could drive right up to our doors and
ask us to look under the hood, ask us to fix a tire, fix a wagon wheel,
or just say Hello. We know our customer's names and they know ours.
We are a "small town shop" in the middle of a thriving city.
